1974 -Correct door panels

What are the correct door panels for a 74? I've searched for pics and new panels and get conflicting info.

Are they simple, plain vinyl or do they have angular design elements of the later years?

Anyone have pictures?

Thanks!

Garage
74-75 didn’t have those pleats or diagonal lines like the later cars had.
Should be something like this.

Thanks! That's what I thought. So IF I had the door pockets then these could effectively be made from a plain RS type of door panel?

Anyone have any suggestions?

Make sure you get the ABS pockets, they are the only ones that won't distort. Try on eBay from some upholstery shop with Lincoln in the name.

You can use later model door cards and just wrap them in plain vinyl or leather.
74/75 use a 2 year only door pocket design with unique brackets. Later pockets will install just fine though since good 74/75 are hard to find.

I ordered ABS pockets and had to return, the fit was so poor. YMMV

Appbiz makes great doorcards suitable for all models.
