930 trailing arm mount brackets, G50 tube?
Does anyone make weld on brackets to adapt 87 930 trailing arms to a G50 torsion tube? There are brackets for earlier non-G50 tubes which would not relate.

There isn’t a specific bracket that I’m aware of.
I put the “normal” 911 to 911 ones on a G50 tube, lots of work cutting and welding but it works. I made a jig off the transmission mount though to line things up before cutting off the stock ears. Going 911 to 930…… there would be a bit more measuring to get them in the right spot. ![]() |

Your mount is basically what I have, with the adjuster bolt/fork on top which protrudes through the rear seat bottoms. It's tacked in, and I did have to modify it to fit the G50 tube. I would rather have something that lays flatter and doesn't protrude inside the body. Suppose I could slice the upper section off and weld a plate there, but before
I do that, thought I'd ask if there was something else out there.

I believe all the ones currently available come from John James Racing.

Since the trailing arms for all 3.2 cars are the same I think, the dimensions from the pick up hole to the new hole will be the same early or late 3.2. You reference from the hole, not the tube. I know the post was not how to make one but where to find one. Will crawl under a couple of cars before I leave tonight to understand the difference between the 2 pickup flanges. Bob
