Show me your LED headlights

If you are running LED headlights show them here. Let us know what brand you are running, how well you like them, and if you wish you could change something about them or do it differently next time. Bonus points for before/after pics.

From 911 Haus. Daytime running “halo” with hi/low beam LEDs. Plug and play install took 10 mins per headlight and work fantastically. Can’t think of anything I’d change about them.

Well you asked for HID feedback and then mention LED. These are HIDs not LED, they are 55W Xeon 4300K Flat6 illumination kit. They are awesome so awesome at night giving good quality white light, well defined cut off and long throw. Driving Texas backroads and especially doing 85+ on the toll way at night is amazing, especially since we have have wild pigs and boars that like to roam. I personally like the black insert with the clear VW Bus glass with the black lens rings. I feel it gives the car a slightly updated look. The only thing I didn’t care for was the black backing fitment. It was oversized and required some trimming and overall a pain to seal with the rubber gasket. But once assembled I haven’t had any issues for the nearly 3yrs I’ve had them.

I don’t have any night shots but a couple along with a comparison of my 87 with a fellow PCA members 88.

Fitment took a bit of massaging on one side but it was not anything that would cause pain and suffering.
I am extremely pleased with the results and the quality of the JW Speaker headlamp John used.

Not sure why I put HID in the title, I meant LED. Maybe we could get the moderators here to to update the thread title from HID to LED to help this thread be easier to find and more useful over a longer period of time.

be great if each respondent included source of lamps as well as any notes on fitment (ie I ve head some are not so simple to fit). I m in the market for modern lighting as well

I`ve built my own. Wasn`t really hard TBH. Used forum infos as a guide.
