Thumbs up Willowsprings this weekend??

Is anyone going to Willow this weekend. POC and VARA have a joint event with a 2 hour Enduro Saturday night. SHould be fun. If you do come by and say Hi and I will put a BEER in your hand

I will be by Turn 1 with a big group of early 911s and one lonely 914-6. My car is #267 Red/white/black.

Mark,
Save room for my cousin and his trailer. I will be getting there early in the AM on Sat. I see they have us running with the heavy iron! Corvette's, Mustangs,Camero's, Porsche's, and Alfa's do not mix well. Since I have only done 5 laps at WS 3 years ago, if I break 1:42's i'll be happy. I'll need you to show me the line again (on paper, I will loose you on the track your too fast. )You remember last time.... BOOOM! Clank, clank , clank, pitttttooooeeeee $$$$$$$$$$$$$. I'm knocking on wood right now.
Did you get your susp. fixed? I need to raise my car a bit.. I'm lacking in susp. movement.

No problem Chad, I will save room for you and your cousin. Yeah I will show you the line. I need to test out my new front suspension. I too might need to raise the car a bit. I do not have that much suspension travel either. I will have to drive it and see. Are you still doing the enduro? Let me know if you are, maybe we can team up. I do not think my 12 gallon cell will make it a full hour before we have to pit. Who kows maybe I will test my gas mileage.

Your car will be just fine. Make sure you have the coolers ducted off real good. It is going to be Hoottt!

I'm not driving but if I survive my honey-doo's, I will hopefully be able to come out and spectate a bit...sounds like fun.

A more fun Porsche drive is to take the Angeles Crest Highway to the 14. It's a very twisty piece of road.

Thinking of Going to Willow

I bought my 84-911 Targa about six weeks ago. Can I attend if I'm not a member of PCA? Is this a tire kickiing thing where I can get free advise (OK, I'll pay in beer)?

Can someone give me a general idea of what's going on Saturday and Sunday? I checked the Zone 8 calendar of events and it just says Concours, Los Angeles area.

ANYBODY FOR A CARAVAN THROUGH ANGELES CREST HIGHWAY AND ON TO HWY 14? I just got a new car and I want to try it out, even though it's not a Porsche (this time). I am hankerin' for some twisties and I haven't really gotten to know any "pelicanheads" so it would be a nice time to get to know each other, maybe. Send me a PM with your phone number, we'll arrange a time.

Hugh, it's a Porsche Owners Club meet for Sat. and Sun., June 21 and 22. I believe you can get in without being a PCA member or POC member.
