Is This RICE??

I'm Thinking of replacing steering wheel in my 930. An aftermarket wheel such as a Momo, is a little smaller, giving me a little more leg room. I'm sure many of you can relate. But, the stock interior of any Porsche is so nice it's hard to decide if i want to mess with it.

Which wheel do you think would look best with grey interior??

Driver

Champion

I have one similar to the Champion, well, kinda, and I removed tje round trim piece in the center which gave it a more period correct look, of course, IMHO. The top one just screams Honda Civic

They both look good to me. Can't decide. If I had to pick, I'd pick the first one for an all black interior otherwise, he second one.

I would go for the Champion, it has a really nice knob in same series for your shifting also.

BTW: I dont think it´s rice at all.

Definitely not "rice". They are both nice looking and somewhat conservative, no flashy buttons or wild colors. Personally I think I like the top one better since our interiors have so much black, but if you have any aluminum or silver accents in your car then the bottom would look good too. Either will look fine, it just comes down to personal preference.

Momo steering wheels adorn Ferrari cars. If that is ..."rice" then it is very nice rice indeed.

Besides, what do you care what other people think? It only matters what YOU think.

Do you think it is ... rice?

I like the driver a lot, and it would be perfect if it didn't have that ugly aluminum trim piece around the top of it.

I have a Momo Racing Line with black spokes in my car and love it.

Still I'm not too fond of the "silver/steel" look in a 911 interior. Seems too modern. Go with black (assuming you have a dark interior).

A buddy of mine has the Champion on his 951 .. .it's very nice.

Though, I do like the horn pad shown on the first.

I have the Competition model, and don't think it is anywhere near "rice".

Here is the Champion wheel with matching shift knob in Richard L's car. He's been nice enough to let me keep it warm while he's out enjoying his 993

I definitely like the look and feel of the smaller diameter wheel. It’s also a bit thicker and feels better in the palms. The shift knob also feels better than stock and matches well. BTW: you may want to ask Richard where he acquired the Porsche crest horn button...nice touch.

Reesestewww,
I think nostatic's wheel looks the best. I know, not one of your choices. I have a suede Momo Wheel in my car. The disadvantage of having suede on a wheel is it gets matted down and eventually gets a shine to it. Looks kind of nasty. I don't think either look rice. IMHO

The Momo wheel is nice if you don't like the 930S wheel.
I myself have the 930S wheel.

Another 930S wheel owner here.....LOVE IT!

I also like both the Momo wheels. However, how is that aluminum going to feel when the sun has been beating down on it? Hope you have driving gloves.
