shell rotella synthetic $12 gal. at wmt (good?)

shell rotella fully synthetic 5w40 is at wmt for @$12 a gallon while mobil1 is $18.88.

i was going to switch all my cars to synthetic and buy a bunch of the shell. what do you think? seems like synthetic 5w40 would be a perfect viscosity.?

am i right here or am i gonna be sorry?

(all i have been using for years is dino castrol gtx 20w50 in porsche and 5w30 or 10w30 in other cars)

That is exactly what I'm running in my SC.

I use Shell Rotell T 15-40 (dino) in my SC, I assume their synthetic is at least as high a quality (and their spec.'s page shows it has all the approvals for both gas a diesel).

Both are good...but Shell is 1 gal ( 4 qts) and Mobil 1 is 5 qt jug...makes a difference.
