PAPER Transmission gasket??!!

Im ready to put my 901 tranny back together....got a complete set of gaskets...and 2 of them are actually paper, thin paper. Do I need to put some kind of gasket sealer on these or nothing??

Thanks so much for any advise....Zman

I'd put a 574 on them to keep them from wicking fluid out. I think 901's use different thickness paper gaskets to set clearances. I remember reading about measuring the old ones or something. Anyone?

Thanks Chris....I'll feel much better putting something on to help other than just the gasket.
