Hopefully, this will be a fairly easy question. Has anyone used an aftermarket sump breather (like those sold by JEGs or Summit Racing) on an early MFI engine with the factory air cleaner setup? If so, how did you hook it up? This aftermarket setup seems to offer a significant advantage in catching the oil over venting into the air filter (one less leak to worry about). If anyone has done this, do the aftermarket systems work with MFI engines?
I found this thread: Sump breather setup? but I am still unable to see how you would use these breathers with the original diameter breather hose. Does someone sell hose adaptors with a clamp fitting on one end and a screw fitting on the other? Do I need some sort of "reducer" fitting? Anyone got a solution? Pictures, as always, would be GREAT! ![]() Thanks
