Phoebe racecar on mag cover!

Okay, a little self-involved I know, but too cool anyway...

This is the Midwest Council Newsletter cover from last month.

I'm not sure you are RGruupe material..just not that type of guy..more of a Gruppe B type...hot rod for the fuin of it..and I'm ready with a spray can..I know were you live!..oh sorry No.1. can't force them to join...

lets try the soft method.....come on Chris, we need a fast stallion(huh?) like Phoebe to lead the charge into battle..she has too may battle scars and home brewed engineering to feel comfortable in any RGruppe squard.

'sides we have cool stickers and shirts.

Amidst the darkness there came a white light. That piercing light was emenating from the mouth of a four footed beast called "Phoebe" with blue on it's loins and fire in it's butt.

Verily I say unto to you that that white represents the cleansing fire of automotive modifications unrestrained by the likes of "matching numbers" and other unmentionable and unattainable tasks. The four tires represent the four corners of direction, forwards, backwards, left and right. This beast was capable of negotiating all and not restrained to only forward and left like many of the unwashed masses that call themselved NASCAR. The blue, finally, represents the sorrow of any that should accidentally cross the path of the beast on it's home territory called "The Track"

The beast inhaled mightily through six throats, and cried out in a tremendous howl through two megaphones, "Behold for I lay claim to the number FIFTEEN, and FIFTEEN be the number I claim. I claim not fourteen or sixteen, but right between at FIFTEEN."

"Let the big iron give way to the mighty flat-six" said the beast " though Gruppe B they shall never attain"

Chris,

That is simply a horrible, terrible looking vehicle! I do not see how you can show your face on this board after showing everyone what a horrid example you own. And then to go further and demand the number 15 for such an unworthy machine!! I just do not get how some people have the nerve to go so far!! I'll be up there this weekend with my truck and trailer. I'll take this abomination off your hands and not even charge you. It is with friends like this that you will be able to show your face once more!!

Souk,

I'll put #13 on that wonderful little machine after Chris helps me load it!!

I just LOVE THAT CAR!!!

Chris. I am indeed proud that you have chosen the righteous path as I have watched you from afar admiring your white chariot for some time. I tell you that very few are fortunate enough to have such a beast in their stable. And now with your blessing I shall copy and paste your commitment to the Gruppe B to the Mother Thread for all too see because of its glorious wisdom. You Sir Chris get it as well!

Now if we can acquire the likes of the BLACK BEAUTY our cause will surely be unstoppable!

B@ST@RDS ARE UNITING ACROSS THE GLOBE THIS VERY NIGHT!!!
