Fender rolling has started. How far around?
I recently went to my first DE. It rained most of the weekend, but we did have one dry afternoon session. As my speeds picked up in the (relative) dry, I heard a pretty scary scraping from the front on corners. My instructor checked it out, and we cncluded that the tires were rubbing on the fender lip, as they were all scraped up.
So, I have started to roll the lips in the front, so I can go and drive faster without the ugly noises. My question is this: How far does the lip need to be rolled? 45 degrees? 90 degrees? Also, what arc needs to be rolled?
Maybe someone could post a pick of their wheel well and show me where they started and where they stopped. I am guessing that the seam where the bellows meets the fender is a good spot to start on the front, but what about the back? How far do I need to go?
Thanks!
