Does anyone have a view as to the wear limit for rotors and pads for aluminum "S" calipers?
The factory spec for the rotor I was able to find: Rotor 20.0 -.02mm, wear limit 18.0mm #806 Front 19.4 #806 Rear 19.0 (with lip on outer edge of 19.6) According to Pagid, the U4503 "S" caliper pad has a thickness of 19mm. So 50% wear would be 9.5mm. #806 Outer Left Side 9.9 Right Side 9.7 (hows that for taper) #806 Inner Left Side 10.6 Right Side 11.2 (wow)

The pads can be worn down as much as you want, but be aware that the thinner they get the more heat in the fluid will be a problem. Personally for track use I would want to keep at least 50% new pad thickness(75% is even better).
The rotors have 2 wear limits

Muchos gracias Bill. Gives me a reason to try the new Pagid Black compound.
