Scheffler Bearing Quality
I had specifically ordered a pair of FAG rear wheel bearings from our host and instead received a pair of Scheffler bearings. Can anyone comment on their experience with these bearings?

I believe Schaeffler Group owns the FAG brand.
Likely the same parts in a different box at this point. |

I buy more bearings in a month than you'll ever buy in a lifetime. My suggestion: trust the supply chain, ie, buy from a reputable supplier. I have no issue with bearings made in China, Brazil, etc. as long as they are genuine parts and from a proper supplier.
As a contrast, you can buy rubbish that's made in Germany. There are a lot of Porsche parts marked "Made in Germany" which in fact come from other parts of the world and spend just enough time in Germany to sort-of-legitimately be sold as made there. Schaeffler owns the FAG, INA, and LuK brands. What they put in one box versus another is anyone's guess as to the reasoning.

Schaeffler is an OE supplier to Porsche. We supply them the sway bars at Eibach for the Cayenne. They are considered a top supplier in Germany.
