Can anyone recommend a tool bag or tool roll?
Anyone have a recommendation for a decent soft or hard tool bag/ box or tool roll? I've worn out my last two, usually the zippers but this one the outer pockets have worn through. It was just a cheap bag from Summit. I've seen some cool tool rolls like the ones below but maybe someone has a better suggestion.

That one is great, I like the cord that sort of cinches it all together!

I keep this in the frunk of my SC with all of my spares & “emergency” tools: a structured Carhartt bag with a ton of pockets - https://www.carhartt.com/product/802190/16-inch-30-pocket-heavyweight-tool-bag?categoryCode=
Pockets for relays, fuse & fastener containers, and then my tools, fire extinguisher, wipes, first aid kit, etc in the center.

That Pangolin looks even better than the old-school one I made out of heavy duty vinyl fabric.

These are the style bags that I've used for the last two but I find myself getting kinda lazy and throwing stuff in the bag and sometimes heavy stuff gets on top of fragile stuff and now my dwell meter is broken. Ha!

I think that one would be a good compliment to a tool bag but I usually carry more tools than it could handle on its own.

Been eyeing one of these. Bucket Boss - 74004
A tool bag should't be too large and bulky. You should need to think carefully what tools you really need.

The bucket boss is definitely a contender! I pack a timing light, tach, extra distributor, extra coil, a decent amount of stuff, more than average hand tools. Maybe a need a spares bag and a tools bag!
The achtung bag is pretty killer and the price is right! |
