Classic Retrofit A/C system programming SOS

Hello

I have read through almost every thread regarding the CR electrocooler system and please forgive me if I might've overlooked it but . . . . is there a thread (or a guru) on these that can assist with tuning this thing?
The vehicle in question is a 1979 SC with dual condensers (L/F, L/R). The system fires up and blows cool but never achieves the chill that we were expecting. I have read that people tune the code but for the life of me I cant seem to find what specs or how to. I did wire in a booster fan to flow more air through the system but it still never quite achieves anything substantial.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Have you reached out to CR support? They're pretty responsive. Also the setup guide has some useful info on the console settings.

Also note that CR have at least 2 versions of the firmware out there now. Which one do you have?

In the manual that jrwilson posted the link to, it says on P15:

Quote:
Electrocooler is shipped with settings that are typical for the Porsche 911 with a 90A alternator.
and on P17

Quote:
The system ships with conservative settings for compressor speed and current. Every car is different so we err on the side of caution in terms of current draw. In order to get the best performance, the compressor speed and current settings can be modified.
So if you have the CR 175A alternator, the default settings are conservative for an alternator of half that rating.

Thank You So Very Much. It has been so long since I installed the system that I had missed some of this obvious data. It lead me to go through everything yet again and I believe that thigs are looking/getting cooler.

Firmware update and a few tweaks have been quite helpful. I do believe that we may need to tint the windows though.
