Searching partnumber
Hi,
I'm swapping the motor of the fresh air blower of my 1980 911 SC. But there's a foam gasket which will be seperated in parts when I'm going to dismantel the blowerhouse. It's hard and crumble... Does anyone of you know the partnumber of this foam gasket (red arrow)? It's not '901-571-922-01'. And are those parts with the blue and yellow arrow also still available? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1720173130.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1720173130.jpg |
Someone just asked about that:
https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/1163800-fresh-air-fan-part-reqd.html There are two. The one that isolates the motor is rubber. The one between the plastic motor housing and the vent duct (your part number) is foam. The number for the retaining clip is 90157192100. It is still available through most 911 part sources. Just google it. |
great link for that round foam....flintstone';-)

No problem. Only place I could find them. They also have the C-Clips under their own part number 914CCLIP and the bowden cable clips for the air box if rebuilding the vent system.

Great, thanks for this information!
Looks like it's a hot topic :) Unfortunately it looks like the foam part isn't available in Europe at all... |
Looks like PP has the blower motor seal now:
