NC fun run #3?

After a great run in march I think it's time for another one. A few new NC pelicanhead's have shown up and some couldn't make it last time. Would anyone want to go on a drive on june 10 or the 17th?

Tim,

Thanks for starting to put this together. Unfortunately, I am booked the weekends of June 14th and 21st. BTW, what was the outcome of the low compression on that one cylinder?

I've still got low compression since I haven't been able to work on it much.. too much going on right now with a big move at work.

The 14-15th is NC region SCCA at VIR. Pro Spec Miata and Pro Spec Racer Ford. I will heading up there. If anyone wants to chase me up 158 from 68 in G-boro that would be fine.

ok lets shoot for the 21st then. That gives me time to lean out the mixture in my car and hopefully that'll make the trip less than $50 in gas

KC, If you want some help workin' on your baby just let me know and I'd be glad to help out

Thanks Tim, I may indeed take you up on your offer to help, but right now, I'm mostly waiting on getting parts back from the powder coater, and have a busy schedule over the next few weeks. If she's not ready in time, and you've got room for a passenger though...hmmm, you still owe me a ride in the BT!

The 21st sounds good to me. I'm looking forward to meeting some other area P-Car owners.

Count me in. Ordered new CV's from our host and waiting for UPS. Ought to have them installed in plenty of time to make the trip.

Paul, you left out the best part of that SCCA weekend. There is an 8 hour enduro Saturday. I'll be working in the pits for Velocity Motorsports spec Miata. Bring some long pants and we'll put you to work.

As for the 21st. That is about the only open weekend I have that month. I'll have to wait and see. Tim, do you have a route set up?

Tom,
I don't have a route setup yet but I was consitering one of the routes from last time since I don't know the area very well at all.

I only posted to see what interest there was. Looks like theirs enough to have a drive.

Paul, it's the car that was leaving you behind on the test run for the latest mountain ride. (ha-ha!)
