Another Tire Thread
I need new tires…ugh…seems like tires for Fuchs 7 & 8x16 are going dodo bird…hope not…I currently have Toyo R888s (225/45r16 and 245/45r16)…the only direct replacement is the Toyo R888Rs…my tire guy recommends moving to the Bridgestone RE71RS (205/55r16 and 225/50r16).
I like to look of the R888s on the OEM Fuchs…fat tire with the deeper dish wheels…any feedback from you fellow Pelicans on comparative performance? Are there any other options out there? Thanks in advance for your input!

Those sizes may have limited choices, but the stock 205 and 225 sizes still have lots of options. I'm sure Bill Verburg will chime in.

I like the 225/45 & 245/45 set better than 205/55 & 245/45 but for street use it really doesn't matter If I were going RE71 in 16 i'd want 215/45 & 225/40 on 7 & 8 you don't mention the wheel widths but if you have 9s you really need 245/45 if you have 7 & 8 205/50 and 225/45 R1R is an attractive option for the more sporting driver also avaiable in A052s which also off the 225/45 & 245/45 option
