Where Does Front Inner Fender Bracket Install?

Can anyone advise where this panel installs? Are they referring to a hood hinge or door hinge? It looks like it should be right on the nose. Nothing like this came off the car. The lower panel was previously and poorly replaced, but my front panel, inner fender wells and Battery boxes were completely original and this part was nowhere to be found. Are they welded to the inside of the structure? Anybody have a photo or an exploded diagram that shows their placement? What am I missing?

Thanks Ianc2
A clearer description name for that part would be helpful.

It goes in front of the battery box cut outs where the inner fender attaches to latch panel

Perfect, thank you. Guess I need a couple of those. Any chance you can post a closer photo showing how the little finishing ‘beak’ just above it is supposed to attach?
