One last adjustment to make the bumper tab sit flat and cut out the awful exhaust cutouts.

Looking for a cheap one. Anything damaged/bent outside the green area would be ok.
Thanks! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1725383237.jpg |
Got some drivetrain goodies last week. Renegade cooling system, aluminum tank, Porsche 3.6 block with forged crank with a head and another long block to use for mock up while i build that one.

Did you get the tank with the in-tank pump? If so how's the quality look

so far this looks like a sweet project! I'm hooked!!

As everything gets refinished or bought, i color it in then box it up.
Blue is aftermarket. Red is OEM. All large bolts get replated and anything smaller than M8 and screws/speednuts get replaced with OE Porsche. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1729993810.jpg |
Jumped back to the body. I’ve had no formal or informal training so if you see something wrong, that probably checks out lol

Looks like a rad project. I was hoping to find a targa project with worse rust than mine, but it doesn't look all that bad so far.

I didn't know you had a build thread, Brad. Following along.
If I ever get the bodywork done on my POS, I'll make myself available this winter to come down and help/hang. |

Took the brake booster over to a local shop Inge Dry ice cleaning (Louisville, KY). Look them up if you’re needing it done. Great reputation. Time for a little body work and ready for paint.
I’m adding 996 C2 calipers. Should i run the next size up MC? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1731542160.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1731542160.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1731542160.jpg |
Had the steering rack ice blasted. The results are amazing.

The rear has been through its first chop/weld. It's got a bunch more work to go to make it fit, then I have to figure out how I want to mount it. I really like your quik-latch idea. I have a couple ideas and some new hardware came in yesterday, so we'll see what I come up with. :D |

Started pulling things out for the front suspension. Few things still getting ice blasted and powdered. Also decided to send the chassis off for ice blasting.

Nothing is ever easy lol The grill i got to use for the frame is not a great fit for the bumper.

Finished fitting the flares 100% before i cut the fenders. First fit was off quite a bit lol Trying to get the flares tacked on before ice blasting in a couple weeks.
