What's This? CIS Filter in the fuel distributor?
Hello,
I have done a few searches with no success. I am working on my CIS system on a 77 911 and found this filter-looking thing in my fuel distributor. I only found one, and it was in the number 6-cylinder fuel supply. It's plastic and has a filter material around it. I could shine a light through the filter material to see through it. It's a very long shot, but would someone put this on because of its relative closeness to the fuel line's intake and return? For what reason, I'm unclear. The port I found this in was between those two fuel ports. Should I take it out? Thank you for your interest and time. Regards,

Should have been in all 6 ports. They fall out if the FD is upside down.

Thanks,
Where can I find more of these filters? I don't see them on Pelican's site. |

Missing FD Fuel Filters……..
That’s the reason I request the FD sent to me in a zip lock bag to prevent from losing these hard to find micro filters.

System will work just fine without them, I wouldn't get hung on replacing them if they are hard to find.

Those little fuel filters are in every Bosch CIS fuel distributor. I replaced the filters in my old Audi once using parts I found at a Volvo dealership. I haven't been able to find those filters in years...

I bought these and received them. Haven’t reinstalled, but eventually I will when I find where I put the bag
