I left my 87 cab at work since Sat morning and it was very low on gas. I tried to crank it tonight with no luck. Put 1 1/2 gal of gas in and still wont start. It has been sitting in the hot sun for three days. Ran great prior. Is there a certain bleeding process when out of gas?

The little gas in there might not be reaching the pickup tube(?). A quick and dangeous check for pressure would be to crack a hardline near the injectors. A spark tester and an injector noid light will show if those are working. Most computers won't work if the battery is not kicking out over 9volts while cranking.

Tank sediment can sometimes clog the intake when the gas gets really low.

Thanks for the advice and sorry for the late reply. I squeezed a black hose at the top center of the engine and felt something passing through it while ignitiion was in the on position. I repeated this a couple of times and low and below she cranked.
