Turn signal indicators are cloudy/dim

My 77 Targa turn signal indicators are so cloudy I can't see them in the daylight. Do i need to remove and disassemble the tach to fix this. THX

I just was wondering the same thing last week, right turn indicator worse than left side and often find I hit the stalk when it’s already been blinking.
Certainly can’t hear them clicking.

The green arrow indicators on tach face look clouded/faded out anyway.
Question is; can the indicator arrows be cleaned with a long cotton swab without going to the arduous task of prying open the tach….?

I haven’t had time to pull tach to see if the bulb sockets go all the thru to the tach dial face, but maybe LED replacement bulbs will illuminate them better.
