Retrofitting a 1969 911/912 Hazard Switch with a Later Model 911 Switch: Has Anyone D

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a 1969 Porsche 911 (previously a 912) and I’m considering retrofitting the hazard switch with one from a later model 911s. Has anyone here done this before? If so, I’d really appreciate any advice or step-by-step instructions you could provide.

Specifically, I’m interested in:

•Compatibility issues between the original wiring and the newer switch.
•Any modifications required to fit the newer switch into the original dash.

Thanks in advance for any help or guidance!

This may (or may not) help you. Even in the event of wiring differences, they can be dealt with.
