Question Need Help Identifying this 915

Hey.
Help needed to identify what trans this could be. The car is one of the last normal 911 made in 1977 euro. I think i can see a 1 and 454. Can this help id the trans?

What do you mean with "one of the last normal 911 made in 1977"?

The serial number is 9117302401, which means it was produced just before they stopped making them in 1977

Can’t really be sure. The first number, which is gone, will be a 7. That means a six cylinder car.

The second number, which appears to be a “1” decodes as follows:


The third number, which is also missing, will tell you the year.

Then you finish with the serial number, which has no relationship to the vin. Most people will tell you that ‘77 was magnesium. In the past I have seen a couple really late built ‘77 cars with aluminum, but it’s the exception

Look for date stamps elsewhere on the castings.
