What kind of paint should i use???
I live in Northern VA and the local shop up the street here sells PPG. I am really looking for suggestions on what brand to use. Also if I do go with PPG which line of paint should I use as there are a lot of them??

I found the PPG DPLF primer really easy to work with. Then I used K36 surfacer on top of that. The DPLF sticks to anything, and the K36 allows you to fill imperfections and sand out nicely.
Next I used PPG DBU (Deltron) base coat and PPG Stratoclear clear coat. Really easy to use. With Stratoclear you put on 2 heavy wet coats, and it dries quick, good for garage use. Some other guys here have used PPG Concept single stage with good results. I might go that route next time just to save a step. I would advise against changing paint lines, ie DuPont base and PPG clear etc... -BG

Glasurit. My best repaint ever was with Glasurit. And read this thread : http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?threadid=115421&highlight=glasurit
Or do a search for glasurit and/or ppg.
