Steve Wong chip
I'm removing the Weltmeister chip that came with my '88 coupe and replacing it with a SW chip. I was curious what I can expect in drive-ability, performance gains, etc.

Better response and drivability. Really helps to wake up the engine.

Just put it in and have fun, you will love it......did you get it directly from Steve W. or just bought it from somebody? He can make the chip adjustment to your model and country and kind of gasoline you are using.
I got my from him when lived in France --after i put it in i had to call him -- he does an amazing job ...my 911 uses 98- or 100 octane gasoline and with the chip it flyes;-) Ivan

Bought from his website. I selected the cat bypass and 93 octane chip. We have great driving routes in the mountains of north Alabama. Really look forward to getting it installed.

Don't expect a dramatic difference at the top end of the rev range or in 0-60, but it really does help in the midrange. When getting on the go pedal exiting a corner there is a real seat of the pants" difference vs stock. |
