911sc 3.0 1982 Engine Harness source

Just pulled my 911sc engine . 1982 3.0.
The wiring has been butchered and messed with and there are some burnt wires; the engine started and seemed to run fine before I took it out. I think it's time for new sub harness - engine harness. Multiple sources and multiple prices - any suggestions please ?
Also should the car have an oxygen sensor ? books says it should but nothing to be found - just a cut green wire

‘82 SC’s had oxygen sensors, although they are not required to run (open loop mode).

Harness should be 911.612.016.04 for an 82-83 car.

You still need to hook up the lambda control under the passenger seat.
The connector behind #3 intake should plug to the harness inboard the left rear shock.
Your pre lambda cat replacement not showing tap for ox sensor.
I have replacement cat pipes if you decide you need the sensor installed.

Timmy2 (Dennis) just made a new harness for my '86 930. It is a thing of beauty.

He even fitted the much larger alternator cable that came with my 175A Classic Retrofit alternator.

Timmy2 (Dennis Powell) makes fantastic harnesses. Custom harnesses too. Almost all the harnesses in my '70 are from him. Some are custom. Car wouldn't be running without him. Easy to talk to.

I just received a harness for my 81 SC from Timmy2. Very good craftsmanship.

+1 on Dennis. He got me setup on a harness for my 82SC. Same situation you are in now. Great fit and finish with all wires labeled was a plus!

Look up Restoration Design. They have what you need all to OE spec.
