Mid 70s Blaupunkt Radio Function Question
Hello
My 76 has its original radio and I don’t think it’s working correctly but I don’t know for sure how it’s supposed to work. You’ll notice in the video when I hit the FM buttons it is not engaging the FM section of the dial and from what I can tell it’s just staying in AM. Thanks for any advice about how it should work and what might be wrong. https://youtu.be/XUCeC3HZWGg?si=lGKBrHSoevyUgRld |

You might be right.
Blaupunkt started sometime to deliver separated US versions from their radios. Don't know details and when. If not before 1977 yours might be a model "Münster".When you take it out there should be type sticker with model name, production and serial number. Here's a list of 1976/77 radios in Germany; https://www.hifi-archiv.info/Blaupunkt/1976-77-Autoradio/ A versatile (vintage) car audio specialist should be able to repair it. Thomas
