Need new head lights

^^^ I ’ve been down the expensive headlight road on previous 911s. Because they were $18 for a pair, I bought them. Add $30 for lightbulbs, and it’s made a huge difference.

I thought I was using Sylvania bulbs, but I’m using OSRAM H4 9003 12V 60/55W 5000K 62193CBA Cool Blue Advance Hi/lo Beam Halogen Headlight 2X.

I had no idea what the cool blue was, and did not want “blue” light, but they are a whiter bulb.

Oh wow — you’ve got room for yet another solid upgrade by swapping those out for the 60/55W Osram-DSL +250 Ultrahigh Luminance bulbs.

The “cool blue” white appearance comes from a blue filter on the bulb’s glass, which cuts out the natural yellow light. The problem is that yellow light is still usable light, so filtering it out means you’re effectively losing some of the illumination that could be on the road in front of you.

On Osram's website for your Cool Blue bulbs it literally says

DESIGN– Because looks count the most

But they have another section

PERFORMANCE – Because power counts the most

I went to the cheap sealed beam LED replacements as did HarryD
anybody who cares about blinding other drivers clearly do not
live where there are modern pickup trucks. With my 60 buck LED's
I still feel like i'm taking a stick to a gunfight!

I have the 9Eleven lights. Expensive? Yes. OEM? No Bright enough to cut through the darkest night? Absolutely daylight in front of the car. Bring it on...
