Motronic service
Over the years, I've read about folks who service Motronic controllers on the 3.2L cars.
For those who have had their unit serviced, what is involved? Is it as simple as replacing failed electrolytic caps and looking for failed transistors? Are the resistors checked for spec, too? Curious to know..... Thanks, Scott

I recently used these guys, very fair, very good service, very good communication, and everyone I spoke with told me their real name.

I also used the ECU doctors in Florida for my 3.6 ECU. They did several tests including installing it in a car and found nothing wrong and sent it back. It turned out to be something else in my 914-6 conversion. I would use them again.

Thanks, folks. I'm troubleshooting now and planning next steps.
@blucille and 917_Langheck, it seems I may have missed an inside joke. Is there somebody to avoid in this space? There typically is somebody to avoid in every niche of our beloved hobby.
