15" Hoosier Speedsters Ordered!
I’ve been running Toyo Proxes RA1s for about 10K miles, but I’m going to give the Hoosier Speedsters a try. They’re one of the few streetable options in 205/60-15, and I really like the look.
Setup is 15x8 and 15x9 Fuchs on a ’77 3.0L hot rod. The Toyo 205/50s just look undersized up front, and with my Elephant Racing RSR suspension and 19mm raised spindles, the Speedsters should fit — though I know it’ll be close. Mounting this Friday (8/29). The nice thing is that the front wheel/tire will now match the rear in overall diameter, which should fill out the front wells nicely. I’ll update after Friday, but I’d love to see pics or hear feedback from anyone already running Speedsters — especially on raised spindle setups. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Undecided; 08-26-2025 at 10:55 AM.. |

IMHO, 205s are way too narrow for 8s, should be running 225s and 245s on that size wheels
