engine code

I have what i was told is a 1987 3.2 engine. The number i found on the right side of the block under the fan is *64K00867* or *64K00967* the 8/9 is a little funky. I was trying to find out what it really is. Thanks for the help

64K = 1989 3.2, engine designation should be 930/25

If you can see the engine serial #, then the type # is nearby.

Awesome thanks for your help. I'm new to owning a Porsche, and mine is a 1977 911 converted to a widebody with the 3.2 added so every bit of info helps.
