915 transmission rebuild "while I'm in there"

I've done a search, but I can't find the list of things to do while I'm having my 915 transmission rebuilt. Can someone point me to the thread or give me a list of things to do while the transmission is apart and out of the car?

Thanks,
Sean

Check out the Wevo site, there's a couple of cool additions. I'll definitely be installing the internal gate upgrade to help shift accuracy and to help prevent bad shifts at the track.

The engine and tranny are out as one unit.

If you are doing it yourself:

1. replace engine vacuum lines
2. replace fuel injector O rings
3. replace/check engine fuel lines
4. replace oil thermostat O-ring
5. replace engine breather gasket
6. if you remove CIS assy replace intake gaskets
7. replace clutch assy
8. replace flywheel seal
9. replace flywheel bearing
10. valve adjustment
11. replace clutch fork
12. replace all synchros, 1, 2, and 3 gear, check 4 & 5 and replace if needed.
13. all shifter bushings (shift rod, tunnel, and coupler)
14. Throttle linkage bushing replacement
15. replace engine sound pad
16. Replace/balance flywheel

If a shop is going the work and you have a budget:

#4,5,7,8,9,11,12,13,16

Take advantage of overlapping labor. Don't be penny wise and dollar stupid.

I'm sure I missed something. Others will chime in, I'm sure.

You might add a WEVO bearing support for insurance.
