REAR bellows orientation help 911

there is a little TAB on the bellows, where should it sit when bellows are reinstalled? Photos have letters to help in the orientation.

"A", back? Front?...ect

Im thinking the TAB should be on TOP, Toward front..but dont Know!

Assuming this bellow is Passenger side rear?

I believe your correct. The thin edge, top in you photo butts up to the light housing. Heavy part is at the bottom.

That is correct. That is for the pass rear with the tab facing up

Are you sure?

had someone at pelican on the phone, as we both were looking at this picture online, they said if this bellow were turned clockwise it would actually be correct for the rear passenger side...if true, turning it clockwise would put the TAB on the bottom.

your thoughts?

That doesn’t jive with what the body will accept. If you did have it as they stated, the large bumpy part would be against the body, and the thin lip would be doing nothing really. I think the thin lips contours with the body.

this is what they stated

this is how it would look on the car, right rear, by what they told me.

Im trying to visualize what you suggested, and what the issues you said it would cause...

the bottom in the original pic hooks onto the rear slats of the bumper so it has to be on the bottom. I just reinstalled all my bumper pieces over the weekend so I'm certain that is the correct orientation.
