1973 RSR Pics from Parade

Hope you enjoy this!! The 10,000rpm tach looked right at home in this car but the pic through the glass didn't come out too well, so I left it out.

That's what I'm talkin' about.

Yeah, that's definitely one of the coolest cars I've ever seen.

Awesome,

But you know I've gotten so used to replicas, that my initial thought was oh this is just another dude with a lot of time and money doing a gorgeous replica, that said the original is something to behold and Jack's car is one of my favorites ever....

Thats just beautiful. A real RSR is still mighty impressive, 30 years later.

There's no substitute for authenticity.

Thanks for the photos.

I have a real soft spot for that car myself, makes me want to cry. I almost bought that car one time and passed on it. What was I going to actually do with it ? The window to own it is pretty much closed, but it still has a spot in my dreams. It was 6 figures less than todays prices. Shhot me somebody please. Hey Brian, Johan here, car looks nice, huh.
Yours is great by the way, I hope to see it in person some day.

Oh geeze....that's pretty much where I'm headed with my conversion (although a 3.6 will be the prime mover). I have the Maisto 1:43 scale model of the beast. I knew there was one real Black RSR out there with red trim but I've never seen a picture of it. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your picture is now gracing my screen saver.

Here is an action shot of #940 being "used as intended" by Revson.

Johan,

Thanks for the compliments. I hope to show it to you some day. I'd like a ride in one of your new toys sometime also. Hey I'm the one posting your stuff here why don't you share the history of #940 with the rest of gang. It is an interesting one.

Those RSR pictures have really inspired me. Here's pictures of my work in progress.

I'm shooting to complete the paint work by the middle of July. Oh yes...the 3.6 rebuild will follow.

The right rear side has been polished out....the left still needs color sanding and buffing. 'Can't wait.
