BPR7ES okay to use in a 2.4T MFi?

Ordered BP7ES plugs and was sent BPR7ES's in error - understand the 'R' plug has a built in resistor - would they be okay to use in a stock 2.4T?

Just want to check before I install or send 'em back...

Yes, use them, non resistor no longer available

They will functionally work, but you may suffer possibly two things. Radio Frequency Interference (RFI), and a less stable spark. Also could effect you CD Ignition System. Even a cylinder misfire. I never experienced a misfire, but even NGK talks about it, see like below.

Years ago, in the days of the dinosaur, when we ran non-resistor plugs, you would hear it in your AM Radio. Sounded like an audio tachometer. I recall you could hear a car next to you at a stoplight that was running non-resistor plugs. The same for plug wires. A good example of this is the Chevy Corvette, with its Fiberglass Body, that didn’t shield the radio antenna. So the used a shielded Distributor. A metal box fitted around the distributor cap. Later Air-Cooled Porsche engine used shielded spark plug wires.
