Question Vacuum Hose? entering engine bay near left rear strut tower.

Need help identifying this thinner "vacuum hose" following complete restoration and paint of my 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Cab.* It enters the engine bay just to the left of the left rear strut tower and I have no idea where it terminates.* I already have the vacuum lines for the brake booster attached and a similar thinner vacuum hose going from the "T" junction to the cruise control servo.* On the end it has a metal furrell designed to be an inline connector to either another hose or something.

Possible solution...

May have just answered my own question. Could it be the hose that attaches to the thicker hose that goes to the carbon canister under the left rear fender. Items #13 and #9 in the diagram.

I think you've got it. If you suck or blow on #9, it should come out the small nipple in the LF wheel well. I believe this is the line for fuel vapors to travel aft from the overflow/vapor canister (also in LF wheel well) to the charcoal canister in your diagram.

Edit: I don't think the line is intended to hold vacuum in the traditional sense. You should be able to run the car, unplug and plug the line, and hear no change in performance. Please check OP
