Thanks all for your opinions. I am planning on taking a closer look at this car tomorrow morning. The plan is to buy and resell - the owner seems to be eager to get it out of his garage, and it seems to be in the price range, where I can purchase it, do a few maintenance things on it, and then resell it later on. Or keep it for a while - I'm not sure.

I'll take some pics...

Garage
briefly (carpal tunnel..)

there was euro and us versions of the 68L

euro came without: dunlop sp, alloys, bumper guards front, fresh air blower, leather wrap wheel, fog lights, or front stabilizer bar.

the euro L could be optioned with those missing items and still be cheaper than the us L (probably smog crap)

my father brought in several 68S's....the price diff was $400 between the us 68L and the euro 68S (7%). The euro cars were easy to import in 68 as "individual entries".

regards

Okay, I took a look at the car this morning. Disappointing from a buy/resell for profit perspective, but a very good car for someone at this price:

Took a look at my neighbor's Soft Targa 911L this morning...

Wayne,

it's a small world, I'm also close to buy a '68 soft window 911L, I'm also confused about this model.

I also need advice on quotation but I anticipate that I have been searching for a soft window targa 911 for a while.

Tell me about your experience as I have to make the decision this week.

Josep
