1971 911 Fuel Pump Issue/Options
I have a 71 911 and just completed a full rebuild and having issues with my fuel pump.
I've installed in inline delphi pump close to the tank and have had it fail twice. Looking for input on other pump options or things to consider why the pump continues to fail.

Hard to visually tell to me, as all the socks look the same. I was planning on pulling the hose to see how much fuel is flowing.. thoughts

If the fuel sock is clogged the pump works too hard trying to pull fuel thru it. You need to visually inspect the sock (fuel filter) You'll need a 27 mm wrench to remove,,,and drain gas first of course.
