Sump Plate and Plug size?

HI friends. anyone recognize this aftermarket sump plate? It on a 3.0 block .. As of now, its missing the plug itself ( Long and sordid story: after full oil content was distributed on a warmup lap at Lime Rock...)

shoot me now

THanks. Frank

That looks a lot like Aaron Burnhams milled sump plate. I’m not near my motor for a week or but will dig through my notes to see if I can find the bold size

Damn, Frank. Aside from the cleanup and perhaps a cursing event organizer, did you get away without engine damage?

Unclear yet Town..... ugly crap.......had just picked the " completely tuned car " in PA . at startup, no oil lights or anything. but was back flagged at T3 !!!! simply idling around warming up.... managed to get it up the hill then shut everything down and coasted into pits... indeed the BF steward was not happy AT ALL.... and this was not even a race event. SCDA DE... fock.... I will know by tomorrow if any real internal damage..... engine had about 20-30min dyno-tuning hours on brand new parts-internals....

It’s one of these:

I have one on my sump, too.

I don’t remember what size the head of the bolt is, but I can put a wrench on it tomorrow if it helps. Thread size and pitch can probably be inferred from that. I think it’s a 17mm head. I recall it being either the same size as the plug on the oil tank or 2mm smaller.

Frank. I see from the Pelican listing that it was made by Burham Performance. Aaron is on Pelican, hopefully he can inform.

I’ve measured mine and the head is 17mm as previously mentioned. The thread comes up at 13.78mm so 14mm. It’s the same thread as a union from a fuel filter for my car, definitely metric

Hopefully, no damage to your motor!

I was at a DE at Road Atlanta in the early 2000s and a 911 track car, with a new motor, lost its engine drain plug at turn 7 coming onto the back straight. There was a line of oil leading to pit out.

Hey Frank - hope the engine situation works out favorably.

My engine is still on the stand unfortunately. I'll be there next weekend to spectate. Not sure if Friday or Saturday yet. You?
