Front Carpet--Whats the trick to keeping it from sliding forward?

Mine keeps sliding under the pedals and they didnt come with any form of attaching anchors. Any ideas besides ducktape?

I'm not sure if you are talking about the original front carpet or a carpet mat that lays on top of carpet. The original carpets are big and heavy and I don't think they move very easily, at least mine don't. To save my original carpets from wear I use a carpet mat and it slid around under my feet. I solved the problem by getting a few very large paper clips from the Office Depot. These are the clips that are made of sheet metal and have wire handles, they are used for holding a stack of paper about 3/4" to 1" thick. I merely clip the edge of the mat to the original carpet and it stays in place. You can place the clips near the seat where they cannot be easily seen and forward near the pedals.

I used self-stick velcro on my jeep. On the Carrera I ziptied it to the piece of curved plastic that seems to be there to protect the DME. You may not have that on the SC.

I just bought the 4-piece mats from the dealer. It came with clip that clip the mat and carpet together. The mat does not slide forward anymore. It works.

Eric--when I saw your post I knew what your response was before I clicked the thread to read it! I could pitch the carpets but I'm trying to keep the original carpet in good shape (I don't know why the more I think about it...).

I've also got a clip on my carpet that keeps it from moving forward. I'll show you how it works this weekend.
