INMYHOP... agree mostly with Mr. Olsen. For example, on my car..pluses are things like updated chain tenshioners, turbo valve covers, updated clutch, late Carreria fender mounted cooler w/fan, pop-off valve etc. Things that make the car more reliable, but not necessarily change the originality and character of the car. I'd expect these mods to slightly increase the value of my car. Suspension upgrades may or may not increase the cars value. Some buyers may start to worry the car has been tracked or driven very hard on a regular basis when you start seeing tons of upgrades and turbo breaks, etc. Not a problem with someone who is looking for a car to track...but a smaller audience and much less of your investment will be returned at sale. When it comes to major alterations such as aftermarket turbos, take the cost of the turbo off and minus an extra few grand for worry of possible reliability problemos. Sell the non-turbo and buy a turbo...if resale $$$ is a consideration.
