No headlights
I recently replaced the battery in my1989 911 cab. Two things occurred after replacing the battery. 1) the tach stopped working 2) the headlights do not turn on. The flash to pass works but no high beam and low beam. Any suggestions?

If you don't already have a headlight relay installed, that would be my first recommendation. The second is to search up some of the blinker stalk threads. You may need to reestablish the proper gap in the contacts for the headlights to function properly (I had the same issue - only the flash worked). I don't have any suggestions on the tach, other than checking your fuses and wire connections.

Maybe check the wiring above and near front of the battery as headlight wires (blue & black?) run along front of trunk cowl, it’s easy to accidentally snag and disconnect the plastic terminals.
