Turn signal switch cancelling tab fix?

While installing my steering wheel, I broke the cancelling tab on the turn signal switch.
Is there a way to fix this without replacing the whole switch.

Thanks in advance.

I think you’re probably going to have to replace the switch.

Curious how that happened from a steering wheel install.

Breaking the steering lock, that I can understand.

Side note: it always amazed me that the turn signal, cruise control etc are mostly cheapo plastic. In fact, pretty much that whole area (housing, horn contact etc) is flimsy at best. It’s pretty interesting that these plastic crappy bits last as long as they do.

My biggest annoyance tho is the stupid re-greasing of the infamous biannual scraping tab. Maybe it’s a milestone to remember how old I am or how Tempus Fugit because it seems like I’m having to grease up that stupid steering scrape often lol
