Suggestions for cleaning inside bell housing?
It’s pretty dirty and greasy. Looks like a lot of oil from triangle of death and oil cooler, oddly nothing from the input snout. I’m thinking just bag the input snout and pressure wash it?
( also resealing the oil seal behind the flywheel wjen I get that resurfaced- likely also some leaking from there)

I have used simple green, a bucket of warm water, and an nylon brush to scrub the inside of bell housings clean. Depending on manufactures, you can get it to about 85% of new. Just depends on how long you want to spend at it

Use simple green HD (it’s at all the home improvement stores), not the green stuff. It’s purple and much safer on aluminum. My understanding is that Regular simple green can corrode aluminum. I use the purple simple green hd since it specifically states it’s safe on aluminum and metals. Make sure to rinse it off afterwards and don’t let it dry on the surface. My transmission and bell housing looks almost new.

HD - hearing you - I'll make sure I grab some... the Simple Green (Green) does trash aluminum.
Thanks! Anything else I should do while in there? Planning on new clutch pack with TOB, etc. Resurface Flywheel New Clutch Fork Main Seal Other?

Unless you had a rear mainseal failure or a mainshaft seal failure, most of that should be clutch dust. I'd start with an air compressor.
Then I just use a bucket of dishwashing liquid and water, and a sponge. It's not usually very stuck or attached. Pressure washing seems overkill, imo.

For god's sake, don't blow compressed air to it so it goes into your lungs.

It's one of those things that you'll just have to accept that there's no easy way to clean it back to new, and just deal with it. Cover up the input shaft and T/O bearing sleeve (I had a piece of PVC pipe and a cap that worked ok), then use the garden hose to wet down and get off the big stuff. Then use the Dawn blue stuff and a small wire brush. It'll never come out looking brand new, but it doesn't matter as nobody but you will know.
