Ignition rotor issue
I have an issue with my ignition rotor. The old rotor died ( no continuity from center to tip) I thought noting of it and replaced the cap and rotor which fixed the problem.
About a hundred or so miles later the engine quit again so I went straight to the cap and rotor. I found the rotor to be at fault again (no continuity). The only thing I can think off that has changed ignition wise, is I replaced the sparkplugs before the rotor resistors started frying.. 1980 911 SC 3.0, stock CDI and stock sparkplug wires in great condition. New NGK plugs BR7EIX - 6664 6664 Anyone experienced this issue before? |
