Solved - Window stops and inserts replacement - Unknown part from inside door?

Does anyone know what this is? I found it in the bottom of my door when changing the panels and pockets.

That is a stop for the window regulator. It is held on by a bracket and screw - see below. Sorry I don't have a pic of it assembled. The screw goes in from the side with the spring on it, and the plastic bit is held in place by the bracket, on the other side. The bracket has a couple of raised points that fit thru two holes in the regulator frame, so it can only go together one way. Its purpose is to stop the window when it goes either up or down (I forget which one). The part of the regulator with the gear teeth on it runs up against the stop. I'm not sure it can be installed with the regulator in the door(?). Good luck!

If you have patience and long slender fingers, the top and bottom stops can be installed while the regulator is inside the door. It also helped me to loosen, but not remove the 4 screws at the front of the regulator so I could get fingers and magnet grabbers between the regulator and door for when I dropped the top stop and it got caught 6 times.

Thank you again Fab64!

Happy to help out. Glad you got it fixed without removing the regulator (a major pain).
