I am looking for some advise: I have a 88 911 w/ 87K and most are track miles. It is smoking and I have some choices, rebuild the 3.2 and keep it stock, or do a 993 3.6 conversion. It's obviously more expensive to do the conversion, but will it destroy the value of the car, I know the smile value will be increased exponentially. But I also need to consider if I do the conversion the class that it will change me to if I decide to do any NASA events or 911 cup series. Please give some idea, thoughts, suggestions...
Thanks in advance. |

Sell it and buy a 993. Much easier and a better value. The prices of 993 are getting better each month. The price of your car plus the engine will just about cover a 993.
