3.2 Speed Sensor/Cylinder temp connectors

Hi, folks:

I discovered the electrical connector on the left side of the engine for the cylinder head temp sensor is broken and barely hanging on-- found out the hard way when car suddenly starting running poorly. This is the connector in the bracket on the left side that also mounts with the connectors for the two engine flywheel sensors.

If you have it, please post info for a source for the male and female connector housings for the Cylinder head temp sender (93060691500) and the engine crank sensors (911606215030).

Thanks
Joe

The part number for the harness is 911.612.173.09. Unfortunately, this is the whole DME loom; those connections are not separate, so you need the whole thing. It is possible to splice in a new connector to the end, but it is difficult because the cable there is shielded. It is a Junior power-timer connector; I did the one for the reference sensor, but the one for the CHT sensor is similar.

I think you may be correct for the speed sensor.

Do you think this is the temp sensor connector?

The temperature sensor is white..
Check and make sure you don’t have sponge sealant down inside your chassis side. I just ran into that and it kept me busy for a day or two before I found out and was able to dig it out.
