Well, I suppose you could log onto Vertex's site and get some input.

Oh, right, they don't have one.

I don't mean to be a pain in the ass, but you just posted a product picture with the web address of a Pelican competitor smack dab in the middle of it.

Since Pelican doesn't show a picture of their RS panels and since Virus called the writing in his pic crappy lame-ass, in an apology for posting it, maybe he got the panels from Pelican.

I'm not knocking the question -- I'm not even sure if Pelican sells the RS America panels -- but it's easy to do a search to get a picture of the panels without the big Vertex thing in the middle.

Still, if I had been able to answer the question for him, I would have. I meant the rib about the competitor thing lightly. Hope it wasn't taken the wrong way.

...

Not a problem, Jack. I kinda felt the same way once I posted it. Kind of a big OOPS on my part. I love Pelican and have been very impressed with their parts selection and technical help, and this BBS to be sure! Although it would be nice if they offered some kind of membership card with a discount number for people who have spent thousands of dollars here, such as myself.

Should Pelican carry my line?

Jack
Perhaps you can give Wayne a nudge about carrying my products (door panels, carpet kits etc..) The guys on his board are purchasing my products direct and from his competitors. His shop is only 10 miles from our warehouse. Would sure like to get him signed up as an autorized dealer. Have talked to a few guys there and they keep dropping the ball. Any thoughts.

PS I have developed an updated light weight engine sound pad that I think you will find pretty slick. I'm dropping off a freebie for you at TRE today, would really value your opinion on it. Give Dave a call about it some time after noonish.

Bob,
I got the RS kit from you the other day. Just added the cork leather to the panels and will be putting them on this weekend. Thanks for the great customer service and the extra parts you dropped in the box to do the job right!

My interior is out with brown bread is coming, let me know more about your sound mat?

Thanks,
Dane in Issaquah, WA

Sound mat

What we did on the sound mat was use our dies for the stock type foam one we sell and punched out an updated one out of sound deadening felt with a foil backing on both sides. We then sew a binding around the perimeter. Its light and should last alot longer than the silly foam ones that the factory and others sell. I think it is pretty slick and will dress up the engine compartment.
Thanks for your interest. Hoping Pelican will get on board with me and sell these to you guys.
Bob
